Well, I have had the Philips Norelco 8060X for almost 3 months now, and I am still thrilled with it! As I mentioned earlier, it was my brother in law who convinced me to try the 8060X. I forgot to mention how fast this shaver works! In the old days, it took me about 10 minutes or so to shave,and that was on a good day!

Yesterday, I timed myself shaving, and with a moderate beard, it took me a shade under 7 minutes!The big reason it is so fast is that I seldom have to go over the same spot twice. And that closeness includes my chin, which has always been stubborn. The Philips Norelco 8060X is so smooth that their no sensation of "cutting" whatsoever!

My wife is always complaining about having to shave her legs. She says it is a pain in the rear because it takes so long. Well, she used my 8060X ONE time, the shave took 5 minutes instead of 10 minutes, and now she is "hooked" on this shaver too!

In fact, I will probably get her a 8060X for Christmas! (Sssh- don't tell her!)

The Philips Norelco 8060X- How I Won A Bet With My Son!

My son is 32 years old and has never used an elecric shaver in his life. He always used to say that guys who shaved with electric shavers reminded him of the father in Leave It To Beaver.

He was always teasing me about my Philips Norelco 8060X, so one day I told him that I wanted to place a wager with him. I asked him how long it took him to shave each morning. He said that it took him about 11-12 minutes to shave because he just uses a blade and shaving cream.

I then asked him if he got a close enough shave. He said that it was closer than any shave I would get with my 8060X. So, I told him that I would bet him the cost of the shaver. My wager was that not only would I shave TWICE as fast as him, but it would be closer, too!

Naturally, he jumped all over that bet! My wife would be the "blind" tester, and would test by running a hand over our respective faces upon completing our shaves.

Well, the day arrived and I completed my shave in 5 minutes and 21 seconds. My son's shave took a whopping 11 minutes and 4 seconds! (he has a TOUGH beard!)

My wife sealed my victory, by not only saying that my face was smoother, but giving me a kiss on the cheek, too! I owe my victory to the Philips Norelco 8060X!
